The Happiness Effect Team
"Life is a dance, sometimes you lead, and sometimes you follow"

Dr. Stephanie Boulter
PA-C, Psy-CAQ
Founder of Happiness Effect
I have been a practicing Physician Assistant for over 17 years and genuinely love my work! I earned my undergraduate degree from BYU and received my Physician Assistant Master's from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. I practiced in the surgical field as a Physician Assistant for many years before beginning the path toward becoming a mental health provider. I started my psychiatry journey by re-entering the academic arena and earning a doctorate in Psychiatry (DMSc). With my background in medicine and psychiatry and additional certifications in psychopharmacology and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I present a unique variety of skills, and I'm excited to begin your mental health journey with you.
Ethan Boulter
Head of Community and Education
"When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and let the world wonder how you did it."
Ethan is a daring and tireless adventurer with an endless passion for life. Ethan lives with ADHD, and he is an ardent advocate for teaching others how to see ADHD as the incredible blessing it truly is. His experiences as a young person living with mental illness helped inspire our philosophy of hope, confidence, and agility. Ethan is a senior at the University of Utah studying psychology, and he organizes and runs our community education events and adventures to teach others how to find joy and live life in the driver's seat. For Ethan, life has no greater purpose than simply enjoying each day for what it is: a gift.

Koda
Head of Department of Snuggles
Interacting with animals can lower stress levels. For instance, petting a dog or cat can release oxytocin, a hormone that promotes bonding and relaxation. Koda is always up for snuggles, hiking any mountain you put him in front of, or sleeping the day away while anticipating his next outing. He drops by Happiness Effect when his laborious adventure schedule allows for it!
